6th Grade
Teacher: Mrs. Mindy Jones
Reading: We read from a variety of novels including; Roll of Thunder Hear my Cry, The True Confessions of Charlotte Doyle, Bridge to Tereabiuia, and Where the Red Fern Grows.
Social Studies: We focus on the civilizations of the world in both Ancient and Modern times.
Science: We look at aspects of physical, life, and earth science with many hands on experiments.
Math: Currently we are diffentiating types of triangles and writing functions and decimals as percents.
Language Arts- We are currently diagramming sentences with prepositions, phrases and adverbs.
