What it is....This course is provided to students who require additional math foundation skills before advancing on to Algebra I. This course does not apply college-prep math.

Concepts covered...Students will review ideas that they have already learned. Students will also be introduced to concepts necessary for success in Algebra 1 as well as Geometry. These include but are not limited to : performing operations on integers, determining domain and range of a function, solving multi-step equations and inequalities, writing and graphing linear equations and inequalities applying the Pythagorean Theorem to right triangles, and calculating sine, cosine, and tangent.
