| What is your course about? |
The Spanish 2 course is considered an intermediate-level course, where students build on the skills and vocabulary learned in Spanish 1. With a focus on verbs in the various tenses, the class helps students express ideas and share experiences and goals present, past, and future. Students continue to learn about and participate in cultural aspects of the Hispanic world. |
| Who may take this course ? |
Since Spanish 1 or proven ability in the language is a prerequisite for this course, students are usually upperclassmen. |
| What are your expectations or goals for the students? |
Students are expected to learn a variety of tenses, as well as verbs irregular in those tenses. They will express themselves in Spanish both orally and in writing, as well as reading, and listening for understanding. |
